How do I set up an account on SMART VALOR?

How can I create an account on SMART VALOR?

 

In order to create an account on the SMART VALOR platform, you need to sign-up using the sign-up form here. Once you have done this you will need to verify your email address. If no verification email has been received you may log in and request another one to be sent.

 

Once you have signed up and verified your email address successfully log into your account and proceed with the required identity verification process.


How do I verify my account?

 

To verify your account, log into your account and navigate to the 

verification icon on the top right-hand corner of the dashboard. 


Click on the button “Complete your account“ and proceed to enter your details.


What information do I need to provide?

 

You will need to provide your personal information. This includes your name, address, country of residence, citizenship, and phone number. Additionally, you will need to provide us with information about your employment status and estimated earnings due to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements. This is to prove that you are who you claim to be and not participating on behalf of someone or indulged in fraud. 

 

After this, we will require you to upload your ID verification information. You will need to verify your identity by providing us with a government-issued ID document and a verification selfie or selfie video. This step ensures that we know who the account holder is and that we are in line with all appropriate regulations and laws.

What are verification levels and why do some require additional information?

 

Outside of the standard verification, you may need to provide us with some additional information or documents before your account is fully verified. This information is separated into different verification levels, based on the amount of investment you plan on doing on the SMART VALOR platform.

Please note:

  • Once you have successfully completed your KYC information, your data will be sent to our team for review. This process can take anywhere between 1 hour and 48 hours to be completed, depending on the information submitted for review.
  • Once your verification is reviewed you will get an email notifying you that it has been approved or rejected. If rejected, you may need to redo the process again. For help with this, you can email [email protected].
  • Once approved, you can start using your account.

How to change my email or password?

SMART VALOR allows you to change your email and password at any time you need to. This is performed in the Settings page of your account.

 

How to change my email?

 

In order to change the email of your account you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to the Profile settings page. ( This can be found at the top-right corner of the dashboard)
  2. Navigate to Settings > Security
  3. Under Change Email provide your new email and click on the “Update Email“ button
  4. Follow the instructions that the platform provides
    (If you have not enabled your 2FA you need to do this step before being able to update your email)
  5. Enter your account password and 2FA

 

How to change my password?

 

In order to change your password you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Log into your account and navigate to the Profile settings page. ( This can be found at the top-right corner of the dashboard)
  2. Navigate to Settings > Security
  3. Under Change Password click on the “Change Password“ button
  4. Follow the instructions that you receive in your email

How do I close my account?

Should you wish to close your account you can write an email to our support line or use the on-platform chat to inform us of your decision.

 

What do I have to keep in mind when closing my account?

 

When closing your account please make sure that you have withdrawn all of your funds, this includes any locked-up funds in our Staking feature.

 

Once you have ensured that the account is cleared of all funds please reach out to us via [email protected] so we can start the process. 

 

Keep in mind that we may request some additional information from you in order to verify your request.
